The return of the

2007 Charity Golf Challenge Cup

Deadly Derek Underwood’s Cricketers have the drive to win the Challenge Cup from the Notorious All Stars....

‘Deadly’ needs your help to muster a team of ‘Bandits’ to end the rein of John Taylor’s All Conquering ‘All Stars’.

The Cricketers are more determined than ever to overcome the Celebrities victory of the last 2 years.

This keenly fought battle will again support The Martha Trust who provide loving residential and respite care to people with profound and multiple disabilities in Kent and East Sussex.

About The Martha Trust:

Homemead Lane, Hacklinge, Deal Kent CT14 0PG

Martha Trust is a registered charity committed to the provision of lifelong residential and respite care for people with profound learning and physical disabilities. For a variety of reasons, access to the type of care we provide is very limited and often of an unsatisfactory nature. People in residential care are often expected to move home on a regular basis which can be extremely unsettling. At Martha Trust we pledge a home for life and in addition to our respite facilities we provide support to families in a variety of practical ways.

This Golf Challenge for all skill levels will include - Breakfast - Shotgun start - 18 holes - Buggies - Ryder Cup rules (loosely) - 3 course dinner - Prize giving - Comedian - Auction - Raffle.

Are you up for the challenge? Join us at this unique event. Read on...

Note: Money raised from the 2007 golf day will help kit out our new therapy room and increase therapy provision for all our residents, daycare and respite users at Deal. Music therapy, art therapy, sensory cooking, gardening, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy and physiotherapy all have huge benefits for people with disabilities, and all help make life more fulfilling.

If the golfers can raise the same amount as in previous years, Martha Trust will be able to makeover a therapy room and purchase a specialist therapy bed and essential equipment for art and music. Donations will also fund specialist therapists to deliver quality programmes for each individual.
